All about Round Diamond
Round Diamond is a safe place to be. Nursery children can be a.m. or p.m. There is an Executive Headteacher called Mrs Phillips and a Deputy Head called Miss Conroy. There is a Health Manager called Mrs Grayling who deals with children who are feeling sick or have had an injury. There are 2 classes per year, except for Nursery. Unfortunately, teachers and children leave the school. In the school, there is a school dog called Paddington. In some years, there is a setting teacher. The school has an all-weather pitch and a big hall with a small hall. Nursery and reception, and years 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 each share a playground. Year 6 have their own playground. On a Friday, we have a special assembly in the big hall. If your child has not been behaving in school, then the teacher will talk to their parent. Each year, there is a parents' evening to talk about how your child is behaving. If you are in a rush to drop your child off but need to go to work very quickly, then you can go to the office and ask to book your child for Happy Kids club for that day or days. If you need to pick up your child for an appointment, go to the office and tell them, and they will tell your child’s teacher. When teachers and children leave, then there is a new child and a new teacher. In the school, there are pupil parliaments, and it changes every year. We have 3 pride values - Responsible, Determined, Successful! For more information, go to the Round Diamond app: Round Diamond School. Thank you for reading. J
