Governors are allocated a school faculty, or particular subject, to which they develop a link and connection (their "link"). They have a responsibility to learn about that area of the school, either by visiting, or through other forms of communication. The Governors will look at the school Action Plan and see what their link area is working on, and then consider this during their visits or conversation. Governors complete a visit report following each update, and these are shared with the other Governors. Particular issues will be discussed at the relevant Governor meeting.
